Earlier this week, GE's Digital Energy group unveiled their Grid IQ Experience Center. Tim Angus (REGEN's CEO) and I were in Atlanta on Tuesday learning more about the customer and market research that steered the development of this very interesting utility-resi DR solution, as well as potential integration strategies so that REGEN's EnviroGrid platform can seamlessly extend this solution into the C&I customer space.
It sounds like I'll be devoting more time speaking with the GE Digital Energy team (when we're all in San Diego next week for the DistribuTECH conference) delving further into their new product set and determining how we can collaborate with mutual utility and C&I customers.
Interesting applications of swarm logic, combined with facility managers' experiences using REGEN Energy's Swarm Energy Management wireless controllers, topped off with a smattering of relevant smart grid industry news and observations.
