Enhancing the Swarm's Efficiency with LiveHive

We're proud to release LiveHive, a set of enhancements to our swarm logic, that allows controllers to automatically adjust their settings to further optimize the efficiency of a swarm.  This new feature allows controllers to detect when loads start to run more or less aggressively in the middle of the day, for example, if one day happens to be much hotter than the previous, or even if a large hall is unoccupied most of the time yet a large group of people show up one afternoon.

More significantly, it's LiveHive's ability to provide very fine-grained load curtailment for demand response events.  Being able to accurately deliver exactly the load shed predicted is a huge bonus for both customers (ensuring they deliver as much as they committed to), and utilities (ensuring customers don't over-deliver more curtailment than expected, causing other problems for their DR programs).

Please see the press release issued today for more details.
