REGEN Energy formally announced as a new OpenADR Alliance member

The OpenADR Alliance announced REGEN Energy as one of it's new members, with the group now numbering over 71 organizations, including some of the world's largest utilities and technology providers.

Momentum continues to swing in OpenADR's favor, with REGEN's own experience seeing significant  growth in utility pilot projects and RFPs across the U.S. in the past 6 months.   Such a widely-accepted industry standard promotes development of a wider set of commercial offerings, which in turn, increases utilities' comfort when developing their technology roadmaps -- and ultimately, purchasing decisions. Customers (i.e. facility operators) are the ultimate beneficiaries, given the security of knowing OpenADR capable products will be supported by their utility for years to come.

REGEN's swarm energy solution announced release of its OpenADR compliant extensions in 2011. It provides facility operators and utilities with a completely hands-free demand response solution, one that can provide fine-grained load management capabilities.  Case studies have proven time and time again, that REGEN's swarm logic DR strategy maintains comfort far better than conventional load shedding strategies.
