To DR or not to DR using EnviroGrid, that is the question

"I'm already in a Demand Response (DR) program, so EnviroGrid won't help me"

It's a common misnomer we often hear at REGEN Energy, where people assume that once they're enrolled in a DR program of some type, they won't see additional benefits using EnviroGrid.

1. EnviroGrid can help simplify DR for customers when manual procedures are involved (since EnviroGrid can automate most load curtailment activities, esp. HVAC loads).

2. Due to its unique swarm logic, EnviroGrid can shed load while having a more gentle effect than conventional DR techniques (e.g. temperature setbacks or load limiting measures) due.

3. EnviroGrid can help reach loads that existing BAS/EMS systems may find difficult to include in DR programs (due to its simplified method of monitoring and controlling loads).

4. EnviroGrid can provide benefits in terms of peak demand and consumption reduction, on days without  DR events.

5. Last but not least, it should be apparent that load aggregators are already dealing with REGEN to understand how EnviroGrid can help deploy DR solutions in their existing client base, in terms of reach more loads and being able to shed more KW than is currently available to them.  In other words, it's even worth asking to see if REGEN is already in discussions with your load aggregator to see if they'd like to proceed with EnviroGrid even while under a DR contract.
