The "Internet of Things & Energy"

Katie Fehrenbacher posted "The Internet of Things & Energy", discussing the power of allowing devices to talk to each other, and how this can have a huge positive effect on energy reduction measures.  The trend makes buildings and the grid "smarter", and cites REGEN's swarm logic wireless controllers as a unique example of a new product that brings energy efficiency benefits by allowing electrical loads to communicate with each other.

Interestingly, she also points out that the traditional building controls vendors continue to work on "less digital" versions of smart buildings products for years.  Eventually, their perspective will expand once they understand how the new breed of products can be seamlessly integrated into their existing offerings.
